Sheets, an expert in auctions for storage, and a well-known personality has been a prominent protagonist since the show's debut in 2010. Along with his son Brandon Sheets, he participates on the show. Prospective buyers can take a bid on the unclaimed contents of storage lockers that haven't received rent paid for three months. Sheets is a well-known storage hunter, and took the plunge to go on the series. Although not as skilled as his father, but blessed with good storage hunting skills, his son Brandon accompanying his father in the series. Darrell is known as "The Gambler" because he doesn't mind playing the odds when bidding. His willingness to take risks has helped him become a great storage hunter. Being a part of 'Storage Wars' has brought plenty of recognition to this previously unknown character and earned him a substantial online fan base as well.
